  This gem is hidden just off the Sturt Highway and nestled next to a creek off the Murray River. A beautiful location and facilities were magnificent. Each room having its own ensuite and some even having their own sitting rooms. We were a group of 14 and fitted perfectly. It was winter but this place had a fab fireplace in the dining room and all the bedrooms had heating and electric blankets. We self-catered and the kitchen was a great place to work in with pots, pans, and all the utensils you could possibly need. We were pleasantly surprised with the coffee machine and a comprehensive supply of teas. The grounds were well kept with flowers, shrubs and trees. Everyone enjoyed the dog "Max" that came to visit on Sunday. Altogether a great place to take a group and the owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. Loved it!

  We held a retreat with our team from work at Portee Station. The homestead was a delight, with lovely character bedrooms and ensuites. The setting is wonderful - quiet and restful, with a lovely soft green lawn stretching down to the river, and surrounded by huge old gumtrees. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining and lounge area suited our group of 12 perfectly.
